Earning Capacity Assessment

Earning Capacity Assessments are an invaluable tool as the report provides recommendations on a person's functional capacity, transferrable skills, motivation, application, aptitude, interests and potential roles.

An Earning Capacity Assessment comprises two evaluations, a Functional Capacity Evaluation and a Vocational Assessment completed by a skilled Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant.

The Functional Capacity Evaluation tests the workers functional capacity and their physical ability to perform work-related tasks. The Vocational Assessment evaluates the worker's transferable skills, qualifications and interests to identify potential future employment or need for training and support.

The results of these evaluations are used to establish a list of appropriate roles for the worker and give an expectation of what the worker can earn. Active OHS' Vocational Assessors can also supply a further report that details active positions available in the workers' community, and contact real employers to discuss the roles on offer.
